Specification

The furnace features a solid construction made from electrically welded steel plate coated with a quality paint. It basically consists of:

•  Alternate layers of insulating and non conducting material are provided to minimise heat loss

•  The heating elements, designed and calculated for a low load, are mounted on removable electroceramic supports for ease of replacement

•  Heavy-duty super-refractory steel heart provides extensive protection to the basic resistors

•  Thermocouple complete with sheath and compensated extended cable

The furnace body includes a door complete with control piston.

AP (protective atmosphere) furnaces include a capacity meter with metering valve to properly control the quantity of protective atmosphere.

The electric system is located underneath; The configuration of the electric system has been designed for ease of inspection and quick removal. Basic characteristics as follows.

•  Control switch

•  Fuses

•  Galvanic separation transformer

•  Microprocessor temperature regulator

•  Remote control switch

•  Limit switch on door opening

•  Pilot light

•  Extended cable

The system has been designed and manufactured in conformity with the existing EC regulations.

In addition to the standard equipment, the following items are available upon request:

•  Microprocessor timer for lighting and shutting off the furnace automatically, at a given time.

•  Energy flow rate variator (specially designed for temperatures below 600°C)

•  Thermal-cycle timer

•  Temperature recorder

•  Safety device designed to intercept overtemperatures in the furnace
