This machine is designed for the automatic treatment of components inside the rotary basket.

A gun or a number of guns can be successfully used to blow the abrasive material on components while they are moved and stirred in the basket. Few minutes is the time required to complete the treatment and obtain constancy of quality and excellence of results.

The cycle consists of two separate phases:

•  Sandblasting (or shot-peening) cycle

•  Dust blowout cycle

The unit is equipped with a timer for a precise control of each phase.

The drum containing the rotary basket can be tilted up and down for ease of loading and unloading operations.

The sketch below shows the three phases of the process:

Five standard models are available. Selection is made from the size of the basket and the number of blast guns required.

Each basket is formed as an octahedron, fabricated from perforated plate.

Special applications

•  Code 2VV10CE: Rotation of the piece holding basket controlled through a motor variator in the range of 2 to 10 RPM

•  Code 2AUTOBC Unload automation designed with automatically operated cover lift and gearmotor to control the drum tilt movement.

•  Automatic load operation performed through a vibrating trough hopper system. The hopper is properly dimensioned to feed eight cycles automatically, without assistance. This optional equipment is shown in the sketch below:
