| Blastline machines feature a number of characteristics and performances: 1. Our cabinets are painted with baked epoxy powder:
- Exceptionally abrasion resistant
- Color: Grey/Beige RAL 7032 (light color shade ensures better view to the inside)
2. Two side doors (model BLAST 0/F excepted, this model has one door only).
The side door dimensions, 95% of the working area section, allow for a substantial extensive
use of the area.
3. A special edge-cut profile features our doors. Sealing is excellent, even if levelling is not 100% precise. We do not use the outdated and insufficient flat rabbet system.
4. Double-walled doors. This configuration ensures unequalled strength and stiffness. The inside wall of the door is located next to the rabbet, which ultimately results in uninterruped protection of the system against the dust generated by the process. Our system is 100% dust-free because there is no flat surface in the door where dust can settle.
5. Door lock controlled by safety limit switches operated through a special key located on the door, instead of a standard spring system. As a matter of fact, any failure or misfunctioning in the spring system could generate a defective signal allowing the gun to go into action regardless to the position of the door. Useless to say how dangerous a blow can be if the door is open. The limit switches comprised with our machines are totally in conformity the the existing EC regulations.
6. Cabin vacuum control system. If, for any reason (filter clogging, aspirator misfunctioning, pipe cracking, etc.) the air intake is insufficient, this gauge inhibits the gun from blowing. By so doing, any dust escape is prevented.
7. The compressed-air feed line is provided with a three-way hand operated valve.
This valve has two working positions: one gives the consensus to the compressed-air flow, the other one stops the feed line and discharges the internal circuit.
8. Proper lighting of the entire working area is provided by a quartz-iodine lamp, 24 V, 150 W
The lamp is located on the outside of the sandblasting zone. Light is sent to this zone through a toughened glass window.
9. Electric system in conformity with CEI EN 60204-1 regulations. After a cutoff in the line and/or an emergency interruption, the machine will not start automatically. Restart is possible through the operator, only.
10. The front glass window, in the operator's area, is made from multilayer safety glass. This
shatterproof glass consists of two panes with a plastic sheet in between.
11. The multilayer safety glass is covered with a standard glass sheet, easy to be found at a very low price. The standard glass sheet protects the safety glass against the action of the abrasive material.
12. The panes are secured to the frame by four screws. Removal is very easy and does not require special tools.
13. Each machine is provided with recuperator, which results in a continuous removal of the
abrasive powder generated by the process and in a consistent high degree of quality.
14. Anatomical aluminium gun with hard metal nozzle. The action of the gun is easily controlled
by the operator through a foot control pedal.
15. Electric and pneumatic controls are located on the front side of the machine for ease of access and in full view to the operator at any time. The panel includes:
- Aspirator control push button
- Emergency pear-shaped push button
- Working area lighting switch
- Tension “on” signal light
- Signal light of defective air intake inside the cabin
- Hour meter
- Compressed-air pressure gauge
- Manometer
16. The machine is delivered complete with the following documentation:
- General layout drawing
- Wiring diagram
- Pneumatic diagram
- Scheduled maintenance
- Recommended spare parts
In addition to point 1 to 16 above, our PRESS series features the following major advantages:
17. The inside of the cabinet is protected with abrasion-proof subber sheets screw-bolted to the wall..
18. Each PRESS machine is complete with cyclone for continuous dust collection and abrasive recovery. The cyclone unit consists of a special two-way vacuum system (each way is adjustable according to customer's requirements). This configuration is suitable to a wide range of abrasive, cleaning it thoroughly regardless to the material. This configuration assures good performance and constancy of quality..
19. The pressure abrasive tank is complete with a special quick-depressurization valve to stop the jet when the operator releases the control pedal.
20. The pressure tank is complete with safety overpressure control valve .
21. The blast gun is provided with hard metal nozzle. The guns has been designed for ease of operation through a foot-pedal control system.. |
